What is a Booster Club?

A booster club is a parent and community–run organization that supports a program . Boosters help fund uniforms, fees, events, and travel, while also building school spirit, community involvement, and positive experiences that go beyond what school budgets can provide. Examples include car washes, auctions, and merchandise sales.

What Boosters Do

Fundraising

Organize events such as bake sales, car washes, cheer-a-thons, or local sponsorships to lower costs for families.

Financial Support

Help cover competition fees, travel, uniforms, practice wear, banquets, and facility or gym improvements.

Community Building

Host team celebrations, organize bonding activities, and build a strong, unified team environment.

Volunteerism

Rely on parent volunteers to run events, manage funds, and support the team—often operating as non-profit groups.

Examples of How They Support Programs

School Teams: Assist when school budgets fall short.

How Boosters Help

Reduce Costs: Fundraisers allow members to earn credits toward their expenses.

Enhance Experience: Boosters provide gifts, special events, and extra support to make the demanding sport more enjoyable and memorable.
